- November 08, 2011 Christmas Tree Promotion, Research, and Information Order- Establishes the Christmas Tree Promotion, Research, and Information Order under the Commodity, Promotion, Research, and Information Act of 1996. The Order was approved by a majority of eligible producers and importers of cultivated Christmas trees who also represented the majority of the pounds produced or imported during the representative period. - December 31, 2015 Exemption of Organic Products From Assessment Under a Commodity Promotion Law- Exempts people that produce, handle, process, market, manufacture, or import organic certified products from paying assessments. [80 FR 82030]. Effective: February 29, 2016
- June 15, 2016 Christmas Tree Promotion, Research, and Information Order; Late Payment and Interest Charges on Past Due Assessments- This rule establishes procedures for unpaid assessments, which will accrue beginning 30 days after the rule is published. Late and unfulfilled assessments are subject to a $250 charge after 30 days and will increase to $500 after 90 days. Past due assessments are subject to a 1.5% interest charge per month. This rule also provides authority for the crop year and fiscal period to be changed through administrative action. [81 FR 38897]. Effective: June 16, 2016
- April 8, 2026 Christmas Tree Promotion, Research, and Information Order – This rule implements numerous changes including, amending the Board's name from “Christmas Tree Promotion Board” to “Real Christmas Tree Board”, increasing the administrative expenses cap from 10 to 15 percent, allowing importers to request refunds of assessments paid on trees that were shipped to the United States but not sold, and increasing the mandatory period to maintain books and records relating to the Order. This action also makes several non-substantive clarifications and changes to modernize the Board's procedures.
